Lesley helped us gain the skills to manage our very energetic husky. She developed a custom training plan for us that allowed us to continue to practice in between our sessions. The sessions were great because she would expertly demonstrate the skills. She provided our dog AND us positive reinforcement when we did things well! We soon discovered that dog training is half training the pet and half training the dog owners. Lesley is gifted in both! She was a gentle guide that didn’t judge us but would also push us to try techniques that we we did not have confidence to do alone. And best of all, it worked!

Our family came home with a three month old puppy and no clue where to start. Boba is half Mastiff and half Husky so we knew we would be dealing with a large, energetic dog. Lesley worked long and hard with our puppy and, more importantly, with our family training all of us so we could be responsible owners for Boba. She patiently showed us how to set expectations by explaining dog behavior and mindset while only using positive methods of reinforcement. Even during our most frustrating moments, Lesley remained calm, positive, and always optimistic. Now we have a 90 pound goofball who is gentle, polite, obedient and steals the hearts of everyone he meets!
